Fun Days

I have to say, Ethan is one of the most hilarious children I know! Today is his birthday and since it's his birthday he gets to 1) say all the prayers 2) eat all the cookies he wants 3) doesn't have to clean 4) he CAN say that to Isabelle 5) eat whatever he wants for lunch....the list goes on. Practically every sentance ends with, 'but it's my birthday so I CAN do that!'

But it's not just today- he is hilarious everyday! His prayers are especially good. For instance, one night he was saying his good night prayer and he said, "And make sure I wake up strong and healthy, like, especially strong. 999,999% strong...for sure!" I nearly died trying not to laugh during his prayer.

The days here have been very fun, ranging from Aurora going to school and bringing back a paper frog to Isabelle seeing bats on the ceiling in the kitchen where there weren't any (significant cough to those of you who would understand what a significant cough would signify at this point) to Ethan showing me how buff he his by doing pull-ups. (Really he is ripped! The toughest looking 5 year old I've ever seen.)

Reading books, trying to get Dieuwke to finish Zuma (it is simply astonishing the addictive hold that game can have on you) trying to get Lance in a position where I can dump a bucket of water on him in retaliation, you know- living the dream. :)
