So, my days for the last week or so have just been thrilling! Well, no, not really. Every day I do the same thing. I wake up (which, don't get me wrong that's a relief and all, I'm glad I do) I get ready for work, I go to work, I come home and clean and read. Unless of course I go to work in the evenings in which case I wake up, clean and read, and then go to work. I'm telling you- people envy my life.
There have been some sporadic events (fairly few and far between) that have shaken things up a little bit. For instance I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House which was absolutely stunning! The look of the outside wasn't my absolute favorite (I'm afraid San Diego still takes the cake for that) but it was stunning inside. The lights- all of them- were shimmery and rainbowy and it was so pretty. And I would love to have a dressing room like those brides will have. That may just become my goal in life.
And on Friday evening I went to a fireside. The mission presidents for our area were being released after three years of service and there was a fireside in their honor. It was entitled "Why I Believe" and it was SO good! There was alot of song (nothing gets to me like singing does) and all of that song was done by 190 missionaries. Roughly 160 of whom were male. Nothing stirs your heart quite as much as when 160 male voices sing Praise to the Man. And all of the speakers were absolutely fantastic! And the power went out for a small bit due to the fantastic storm we had. But it was so good! It was awesome!
And on Sunday I had to give a talk in church. I didn't know I was going to give a talk. In fact on Tuesday night I had been assured I WOULDN'T be giving a talk. But a one of the girls scheduled to give a talk didn't show and another 'got sick' so right before sacrament started the bishop came up to me, shook my hand and said, "Did you know you were giving a talk today?" And I said, "Well, I do now!" So I did...it wasn't the best I've ever done by any stretch of the imagination, but it was ok.
But yeah, that's my life. I work, save for school, pay for my car. Good days...

Well your talk was gorgeous... even if the highlight was dad shaking his head and placing it in his hand as if to say "My daughter where did I go wrong"
Anyway I do envy your life... Up until last week I totally had school and everything and some time spent doing nothing would have been very nice
Sounds like loads of fun! Hey well at least your life is more exciting than MINE Bonnie!! Of course, I sort of have the same routine: get up, get ready for work, go to work, come home from work, read, and then sleep. Notice how I didn't put CLEAN in there lol :) And on occassion, I'll shoot some zombies with my bro but that only happens on the weekends! We need to get together one of these weekends when Tannon is working! That time we went to the corn maze was so fun!! :)
Bonnie, you are the sweetest! Thank you for being such an awesome friend! :)
I'm glad you wake up every morning too. Nice perspective as my kids are constantly waking up earlier and earlier it helps to keep in mind that I'm glad they wake up at all. Okay so that was much more morbid than I meant it to be...let's just say that my ability to express my thoughts has been lost with memory. Point being I'm glad you wake up and thanks for the perspective. (You know basically my first line of this comment...but I can't just leave it at that can I...no I have to chatter on pointlessly for a ridiculous amount of space. Seriously stopping now...)
It's almost like, Stephanie's own blog isn't enough space for all the Stephanie has to offer... :) Her comments on yours totally crack me up too; as do your comments on hers!
