Can I just say that I am so addicted to these too?
I mean it, I am virtually useless the night of and the day after a library trip. I love reading, I always have, and there is something so absolutely wonderful about going down to the library and mingling among the dusty old tomes and picking out your favorites that you've read hundreds of times and choosing new ones that you've never read but they look good and they fit in your hand. (Don't look at me like I'm crazy, books have to fit before I'll read them)
And then all the rest of that glorious night I'll read. I'll stay up late hoping to finish the first book (I almost always do...) and I'll actually wake up when my alarm goes off rather than hit the snooze, just so I can pick up where I left off.
And--sadly enough-- I do get grumpy when interrupted. People who need rides or want to talk? Well, not a good morning for those sorry unfortunates to pop their head in my door.
The ardor cools off in a day or so and I'm able to pick up scattered pieces of where I left my life and move on, but in my heart I'm never the same.
Ah, I love libraries! THEY ARE SO AMAZING!

This has to be one of the most accurate posts about yourself that you have ever put up. Every word is so true! Virtually useless? OK I can't really be to derisive here because you will begrudgingly help if needed but people know that there is one thing you would rather be doing. I wish I was home to take a picture because while I can see exactly how you look for the twenty-four to thirty-six hours after a library visit I miss not actually seeing it (as exasperated as I may have been before - it's funny what distances can do to you...). Enjoy the remains of your books as I know you have devoured much of them before doing something as pithy (at least in comparison) as getting online.
Okay so I obviously need to start reading the comments you leave on my blog before I come and comment on yours because now you will have two comments and get all excited only to find your crazy sister still babbling on in both. Anyhow I had to mention something about each comment you left. First of all if you were to appropriatly name your operation it would have been mission (operation if you are in the military) JelloBean if you need details why call me. Second of all I couldn't have put it better than you did on my tick post. Yesterday I was so ready to hop a plane back to a decent environment not infested by blood-sucking parasites. The worst thing is that this is better than where we are headed. Seriously why to people live here?
Okay...I think the books are getting to your head, though! The words you used in this post SO added to the flavor, it was past hilarious! I can't (like Stephanie) claim to understand because I've seen you do it, (and until a recent and short-lived personal experience, I have only read text books in the last 3 years myself...not quite as absorbing) but I can imagine. You crack me up!
